This is another great way to meet new golfing friends and enjoy old friends for the entire season.
Participating in the Hi-Rollers is easy to do, just show up when you want to play, sign up and let the fun begin.
| | | | | | Lo-Rollers | | | | | | | In the months of June, July and August, on Wednesdays and Fridays, members with handicaps of 0-18, can enjoy a mid-morning tee off time (11:15 am) and blind draw competition. Low to mid handicappers looking for a like handicap game will enjoy this competition.
| | | | | | Over the Hill Gang (OTHG) | | | | | | | As the "tongue-in-cheek" name implies, this is a senior (age 55 and over) men's morning golf group.
OTHG plays on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from May through October, at 8:00 am.
Teams are blind drawn.
There is an optional lunch in the Grillroom after play, camaraderie is high in this group.
Enjoying golf as you get older is a must, join the Gang for loads of fun.
| | | | | | Twilite League | | | | | | | Thursday nights, from the middle of May through early September, the team match play challenge is on. The league consists of 16, three-man teams. Each week two of the three plays in a pre-scheduled 9-hole match. Tee times are blocked from 4 to 5 pm off the first tee and matches are sent out, first come, first serve.
There is an optional dinner in the Grillroom after play, camaraderie is high in this group.

Traveling Senior Leagues | Cape Cod Senior Four Ball League | | | | | | | Traveling Seniors is comprised of eight Cape Cod Clubs (Pocasset, Woods Hole, Wianno, New Seabury, Cummaquid, Oyster Harbors, Round Hill and Bayberry Hill). To be eligible you must be 55 or older, available to play on Thursdays mid morning in May, June, September and October; and fall within the following handicap index 0.0-19.4. Pocasset has two eight man teams which allow more members to participate. To place your name on the wait list please email George King at venable316@aol.com. Due to strong demand, participants play for two years and then are moved to the bottom of the wait list.
| | | | | | Buzzards Bay Golf League | | | | | | | Members interested in a traveling golf league with the Bay Club, The Ridge Club, Woods Hole Golf Club, Golf Club of Cape Cod, and Cape Cod National may want to join the BBGL team.
The league plays between late June and early September, usually on Thursdays at 1 pm.
Four 2 man teams play each match. Teams are flighted into ABCD twosomes based on handicap index. A handicap of 18 or under is required to be eligible to play with this group.

| | | | | President's Cup Tournament | | | | Honors our current and past presidents of Pocasset Golf Club. This individual score event can be won by either a low gross score or high net points total. Played in September, after Labor Day, it's a great time for your skill level to peak. You even have a chance at the yearly "Beat the Pro" competition. A lot of fun all around! | | | | | Member Guest Tournaments | | | | | | | | The Invitational | | | Bring 1 guest for 3 days of flighted match play fun at the end of June. Players compete in 7-9 hole matches against the rest of the teams in their flights. Great camaraderie, competition, food, fun and prizes are the order of the day for this event. Sign-up early as it is very popular.
| | | | | BBQ/Clambake | | | | Bring 1 or 3 guests to any of our 1 day flighted team member/guests. The BBQ Member/Guest is held in July and the Clambake Member/Guest is held in August. These events feature an 11:30 lunch, with a 1:15 shotgun start and, as the names imply, a great dinner to follow. | | | | | Fall Classic | | | | Bring 1 guest to the Fall Classic. This season ending Member/Guest is held at the end of September. The Fall Classic features 2 days of 2 man flighted team scoring. Fall on Cape Cod is the BEST time of the year and this is a great opportunity to take advantage of it before winter kicks in. | | | |

This is a great way to meet other Pocasset ladies and participate in a competition as well.

Our boy-girl events start with the Irish Open held in June. Green is the theme for this fun filled round of golf and traditional Irish cuisine. A flighted format with some interesting twists are the plan of the day. Too much fun to miss!

This event is held in July. Boy-girl couples from other clubs as a guest or members can team up as well in a flighted best ball. There is always fine dining afterwards for these events. Theme colors are players choice.

August hosts our International cuisine 18 and Dine. Boy-girl couples will enjoy an interesting and varied format and more spectacular dining to follow. A must for summer fun! The theme colors can be your home country.

Italian Open | |
This is our boy-girl couples season finale. This is held on Columbus Day weekend in October. 18 holes of Spumoni format. A traditional Italian family dinner is held afterwards. Color theme is purely Italian. A great time to bid farewell to friends after another fun year of mixers at Pocasset.

| Charity Golf Outings | | | | | | | Pocasset Golf Club is available for outside outings on Mondays in May, June, September and October.
Pocasset is an outstanding golf course, always well conditioned with some of the best greens on cape Cod. It is a fun golf course to play for all skill levels.
